Position Responsibilities
Booster Club Elected Positions-
President
-Preside at all meetings of the Booster Club.
-Meet with the designated campus representative regarding booster club activities.
-Resolve problems with the membership.
-Regularly meet with the treasurer to review the club’s financial activities.
-Select an officer as the designee to receive bank statements. The individual shall
not be a signer on the account. This individual should review the activity on the
bank statement and the cancelled checks for reasonableness.
-Schedule an annual audit of records or request an audit if the need should arise
during the year.
-Establish committees as needed and appoint committee chairpersons.
Vice-President
-Preside at meetings in the absence or inability of the president to serve.
-Perform administrative functions delegated by the President.
-Serve as President until the next election of officers in the case of the President
not being able to serve his or her remaining term.
Secretary
-Maintain minutes of Booster Club meetings.
-Maintain current membership and committee listings.
-Report on any recommendations made by the Executive Board.
-Record all business transacted at each meeting.
-Maintain records of attendance of each member.
- Conduct and report on all correspondence on behalf of the Booster Club.
Treasurer
-Receive all monies as authorized by the action of the Booster Club.
- Issue a receipt of monies received and deposit amounts on a timely basis.
-Maintain an accurate and detailed account of all monies received.
-Reconcile all bank statements as received and resolve any discrepancies
within the bank immediately.
-File current financial reports at the end of each semester (December and
June) with the Executive Board.
- Disburse all monies as authorized by the action of the Booster Club.
President Appointed Committee Positions-

Sports Liaison

Work with the athletic department to promote current events and share any relevant information with parents of athletes

Coordinate with each sports individual liaison, sharing information

Ensure each sport's liaison is following any directives of the AD

Fundraising
-
Organize monthly fundraising events
-
Organize annual tournaments
-
Work with local vendors to spread Raider Pride
-
Work with the AD to get athlete involvement in events
-

Scholarships
-
Work with WE counselors to promote the WEABC scholarship
-
Review athlete submission materials and set interviews
-
Interview all qualifying athletes and determine scholarship eligibility
-
Present awarded athletes with their scholarship
-

Memberships
-
Solicit new members and promote the Athletic Booster Club, attending events as needed
-
Ensure new members receive all membership materials
-
Work with coaches, stadium personnel and board members to ensure all membership information is shared as needed

Spirit Trailer Team
-
Assist the Spirit Trailer with events, ordering and filling sales
-
Coordinate volunteers to assist with sales events
-
Work with Spirit Trailer Lead to complete inventory

Media Guide
-
Work with Media Guide lead to create the yearly media guide

Assist with Media Sales

Attend events during football season to display sponsor merchandise as needed
